Samsung to launch Galaxy M36 5G next week in India

Thanks to deeper collaboration with Google and Samsung, the Galaxy M36 will support advanced versions of Gemini AI features. It will be priced under Rs 20,000 in India.

Samsung is all geared up to launch the new mid-range phone Galaxy M36 5G series in India next week on June 27.

The company has revealed that the upcoming Galaxy M36 will come with several class-leading features, including generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI)-based Circle to Search.

Thanks to deeper collaboration with Google and Samsung, the Galaxy M36 will support advanced versions of Gemini AI features.

Taking inspiration from recently launched ultra-slim flagship phone Galaxy S25 Edge, the Galaxy M36 will feature slim design with just 7.7mm thickness.

The device will also boast of Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus screen shield for protection against scratches and accidental falls. The device will be available in three colours- velvet black, serene green and orange haze.

Further, the Galaxy M36 5G will come with advanced 50MP OIS triple camera to get sharp photos and videos. With Auto Night Mode and Nightography features, the cameras on Galaxy M36 5G are designed for vivid shots—even in low light. Users will also be able to record 4K videos on both front and rear cameras.

Samsung has confirmed that the device will be priced under Rs 20,000. More details of the Galaxy M36 5G will revealed on the launch day.

In a related development, Samsung is also set to launch new line of premium foldable phones-- Galaxy Z Fold7, Fold7 Ultra and Flip7 early next month.

As per the official teaser, 2025 series Galaxy Z Fold model will be much thinner and lighter. Samsung also noted that the device will be made of sturdy materials to survive daily wear and tear, and ensure it serves the customers for several years.
