The Fourth District and Sessions Court has sentenced two persons to life imprisonment for stabbing a man to death over a property dispute.
The convicted are Girish (28) and Venkatesh (28). They had stabbed Annu Mogera of Arippady village in Belthangady taluk to death on November 30, 2016.
It is said that deceased Annu Mogera, Girish and Venkatesh were relatives. They had a conflict over property. The issue had reached High Court too. A total of 19 witnesses had deposed in the court.
