<p>A Shenzhen Airlines cabin crew member was bitten on the arm when she tried to break up a brawl that broke out between two passengers aboard the aircraft.</p><p>As per a <a href="https://www.scmp.com/news/people-culture/trending-china/article/3305094/china-flight-attendant-bitten-arm-after-intervening-passengers-clash-over-body-odour?module=top_story&pgtype=subsection">report</a> by the <em>South China Morning Post</em>, the airline in a statement said that the incident occurred on a plane scheduled to fly from Shenzhen in southern China to Shanghai on April 1. </p><p>A fight ensued between two female passengers seated next to each other. While one woman complained about the other's body odour, the other raised objection to her neighbour's strong-smelling perfume according to the report. </p><p>What began as a verbal argument soon turned violent. Four members of the cabin crew intervened to break up the fight. </p><p>A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. One of the flight attendants can be heard shouting “Open your mouth. It has been reported that she is in a “non-serious condition”.</p><p>Both the passengers were taken away by the police though it is unclear what punishment they will face. </p><p>All other passengers were asked to deboard the plane and reboard after nearly two hours. </p><p>The company in a statement said, “Shenzhen Airlines does its best to safeguard the legal rights of both passengers and its employees. We call on passengers to obey the rules and take your trips in a civilized manner.” </p><p>Social media users were quick to respond to viral videos. One comment read, “These two women should be blacklisted from taking any planes and trains in the future. Such irrational people will pose a danger in any venue." </p><p> “How hard an attendant’s job is! I suggested this attendant take some vaccines to make sure she has not been infected by any viruses because of being bitten by the passenger,” another said. </p>
