US condemns violence in Syria, urges perpetrators to be held accountable

Washington: The United States urged Syrian authorities on Sunday to hold accountable the "radical Islamist terrorists" that have killed people in Syria and said it stood with the country's religious and ethnic minorities.

"The United States condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days," Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement.
