Last Updated 26 November 2019, 06:05 IST

After weeks of hype, OnePlus finally pulled the wraps off the company's new flagship OnePlus 7 series phone in Bengaluru on May 14.

The OnePlus 7 comes in two variants--one a generic OnePlus 7 and a top-end OnePlus 7 Pro with prices ranging between Rs 32,999 and Rs 57,999. The new models come with big upgrades over the OnePlus 6T both in terms of design language and internal hardware.

DH lists key changes OnePlus has incorporated in the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro over their predecessor.

Display, design and build quality:
The first discernible change we see in the OnePlus 7 series is the true full view display. The 7 Pro comes with really thin bezels on all sides and if you observe little closer, the display cascades to right and left sides closer to rim similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10+.

As the company has managed to incorporate the pop-up camera on top-side, there is no wastage of physical space in the display, which will greatly benefit users to watch high-resolution videos without any obstruction and experience true full view screen.

There's a couple of discernible difference between the two OnePlus 7 series model is that the standard model sports small 6.41-inch full HD+ Optic AMOLED screen with dot-notch and the Pro version has 6.76-inch QUAD HD+ fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and has managed to get A+ class ratings from DisplayMate, highest for a phone.

On the back, OnePlus 7 features elongated capsule housing dual-camera, whereas the 7 Pro don triple-shooters and companion sensors.

On the other hand, OnePlus 6T features a dot-notch screen with a front camera. Though it occupies small space, some still find it to be an eyesore and to even out the obstruction, video apps, thickens the bezels. With this, users cannot make full use of the 6.41-inch widescreen. On the back, it features dual-camera and LED flash.
