Davangere police raided a godown at Kaadajji village in the taluk and seized explosives worth Rs.3.62 lakhs and four persons have been arrested in connection with the illegal transport of explosives.
According to police, the arrested have been identified as BS Vikram, Nagaraj K, Vijaykumar and Manjunath.
A case has also been registered against godown owners Shanmukappa and Mujeeb.
The team seized 10,000 gelatin sticks 7400 electric detonators and a goods carrier.
