<p>The pass percentage of students, who appeared in the II PU supplementary examinations, has increased from 20.87 in 2016 to 26.34 this year. <br /><br />The results of the exams held from June 28 to July 8 were declared by the department of pre-university education (DPUE) on Tuesday. <br /><br />A total of 2,51,781 candidates appeared for the examination and the evaluation was done from July 15 to 21 in 14 camps by 5,329 evaluators. <br /><br /> In 2016, pass percentage in the Science combination in the supplementary examination was 21.81. This year, it has increased to 34.13. The pass percentage in Commerce has increased from 22 in 2016 to 25.61 in 2017 and in Arts, there has been a small increase from 19.49 to 20.68 this year. <br /><br />“This year, we issued a circular and made sure that special classes were conducted for students appearing for the supplementary examination. The results have improved because of this,” said C Shikha, director of DPUE. <br /><br />There were only three cases of malpractice this year as compared to 21 the previous year. Students can check their results on karresults.nic.in or puc.kar.nic.in. The last date to apply online for revaluation and retotalling is August 3. The fee for revaluation is Rs 1,260 per subject, whereas there is no fee for retotalling. The last date to submit applications for scanned copies is July 31 and the fee is Rs 400 per subject.
