Delhi Police on Wednesday said it was not rushing to question Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the assault of Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.

Already, police have questioned Kejriwal's advisor V K Jain for three hours following a complaint filed by Prakash. Two AAP MLAs have been arrested in the case.

"In the initial stage of investigations, we are not planning to question the chief minister," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Harendra Singh said.

In his complaint, Prakash claimed that the assault on him took place in the presence of Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia but neither of  them nor the 11 MLAs who were there at the chief minister's residence tried to help him.
