<p>Employees have been protesting against the Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha since Monday seeking removal of irregular appointments being made at various institutions.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The protesting members on Tuesday set up an OPD outside the KIMS hospital to treat patients.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Dr Vinod Kumar, president of the employees association, said about 925 patients were treated free of charge at the OPD. About 1,500 employees have written to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy demanding an enquiry into the irregularities in the sangha and to supersede its administration, he added.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The management has called for an executive committee meeting on July 24 to discuss the matter, but the members have continued their protest.</p>
