Accenture and Flipkart top in IIM-A hiring

 Global consulting firm Accenture and leading eCommerce player Flipkart emerged as the two biggest recruiters at the final placement of the Class of 2016 of the Post Graduate Programme in Management students at IIM Ahmedabad.

According to official statement issued by the B-school, Accenture Strategy made the maximum number of offers at the end of the final placement process, making 18 offers. Flipkart, on the other hand, made 17 offers to students for roles in marketing, operations, product marketing and product management.

“More than 110 firms participated in the final placement process in 2016. Firms that made most offers include Amazon, and The Boston Consulting Group,” the release stated.

Among global banks, Goldman Sachs was the largest recruiter, having picked seven students. In the sales and marketing domain, Star India offered nine jobs followed by Procter & Gamble with eight offers.
