Infosys appoints Nilanjan Roy as CFO

IT major Infosys has announced appointment Bharti Airtel's Nilanjan Roy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company, effective March 1, 2019.

The appointment comes a month after former CFO MD Ranganath quit the company on November 16, 2018. After Ranganath, company's Deputy CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka took over the role of the interim CFO and will continue the role till Roy join the company in March.

Sanghrajka will resume his responsibilities as Deputy CFO, effective March 1, 2019, company said in a statement.

Roy joins Infosys from Bharti Airtel where he holds the position of Global Chief Financial Officer. He has spent the last 13 years with Bharti Airtel, prior to which he worked for 15 years with Unilever across their global operations. He is a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and is a Chartered Accountant.
