<p>Bengaluru: The Government of Karnataka on Sunday accorded in-principle approval to the investment proposal of Krisoda India Private Limited to establish a manufacturing unit for steel products at Sira Industrial Area, in Tumakuru district.</p>.<p>The unit, which will manufacture thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, rods, and allied products, has an investment amount of Rs 138 crore. It aims to generate employment to about 160 persons.</p>.Greater Bengaluru Development Authority expands jurisdiction, takes over 22 more villages.<p>The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) will <br>allot 12 acres of land in the district for this purpose.</p>
