Zonnett to enter new markets

Last Updated 14 September 2016, 17:10 IST

Zonnett, a car-sales repair and service platform, plans to expand its presence to six new cities.

“Zonnett is currently fully live in the Mumbai (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane) and Pune regions. We plan to expand to six more cities pan-India over the next year. We plan to tap Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. We are also expanding our product and service offerings. We are looking to raise the next round of funding to help achieve these objectives,” Zonnett Chief Operations Officer Kanishka Garg told DH.

“Zonnett has touched over 22,000 customers till date, through its various touchpoints. The Indian car service market is pegged at over Rs 50,000 crore, and we plan to capture 5% of the total market over the next couple of years,” Garg said.

“Zonnett’s mantra for scalable growth is ‘Automate-Standardise-Communicate’. We have developed an in-house analytics platform that monitors the entire life cycle of a transaction. Our customer app allows for booking and updates at each stage of the service. Our vendor app allows our partners to receive all job details and submit their completion reports online,” Garg added.

“In simple terms, we can be compared with an Uber or an OYO Rooms for car service. We identify and curate service providers and build our network of Zonnett-branded service providers, set standardised products and rates and ensure quality services to customers,” Garg said.

Currently, a customer faces numerous challenges while getting his/her car serviced — from zeroing in on a reliable provider finding out what work is actually required and the correct price for it.

With Zonnett, the customer simply has to enter their car details and book the required services, and then sit back and relax as their car is serviced at home or at a workshop. They need not worry about the price and quality of services, as Zonnett has already identified the best price and inclusions and offers these in a standard package, Garg added.
