Four linemen are accused of submitting fake marks cards during their recruitment in Bescom.
A police complaint filed by N L Jyothiprakash, executive engineer in HSR Layout, stated that linemen Anand Khude, Subramani N, Chandrashekar D C and Sreekant Badiger forged their marks cards and submitted them as genuine during recruitment a few years ago. They are attached with Bescom units 12, 8, 11 and 8, respectively.
The alleged fraud came to light recently and Jyothiprakash filed the complaint as per instructions from his senior officers.
HSR Layout police said they had taken up a case of cheating and forgery, and summoned the linemen for questioning.
