Big Boss contestant posts fake ad on Instagram, booked

Bandgi Kalra, a model and a Big Boss contestant, has been booked for posting a fake advertisement on her Instagram account and cheating an engineering student.

The student, Yuvaraj Singh Yadav, who follows Bandgi on Instagram, booked an iPhone X for Rs 61,000 after seeing the advertisement on her post.

Yadav said the advertisement offered iPhone X for Rs 61,000. It also had a WhatsApp number, using which Yadav called and booked the phone.

Going by the deal, Yadav transferred Rs 13,000 to a Paytm number 6359007813. Later, when he visited Bandgi's Instagram page, the advertisement was missing. Though he grew suspicious, the seller assured him that the product would be delivered by BlueDart.

When the parcel arrived on Wednesday, Yadav paid the remaining Rs 48,000. On opening it, he was shocked to find only a dummy phone.

Yadav approached the Marathahalli police and filed a complaint against Bandgi, differentcollection.nexafasion.com and BlueDart courier service.
