BMTC bus hits bike, boy dies

A 13-year-old boy was killed and five others were injured in three different accidents on Monday night.

Thosith, the 13-year-old Chamundi Nagar resident, was riding pillion on a bike when a BMTC bus hit it. The boy succumbed to serious injuries. The RT Nagar police have booked the BMTC bus driver for rash and negligent driving. The other two accidents took place near Chikkajala, on Monday, on the stretch to the Kempegowda International Airport.

At around 10.30 pm, a motorist hit the flyover’s wall and fell down on the service road. He was hurt and shifted to a hospital. On the same stretch, at around 11 pm, a car with four passengers rammed into the barricade. All were injured.
