Dhaka mayor visits city

Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation, Mohammad Sayeed Khokon, along with a delegation, visited the city on Monday and meet mayor Gangambike Mallikarjun and deputy mayor Bhadre Gowda.

The civic body officials did a presentation on projects like TenderSURE roads, solid waste management, lake development, white-topping roads and other important projects.

After the meeting, Mohammad Sayeed Khokon said: “We will implement a few projects taken up by the BBMP in Dhaka city. The projects regarding solid waste will also be implemented in our city.”

The delegation visited TenderSURE road on the Church Street along with civic body officials, and on Tuesday, it will visit a few solid waste management centres in the city.
