European Science Slam today

Alliance française Bangalore will host the finals of the 3rd EURAXESS Science Slam India on Friday.

Six young Indian researchers will battle it out for the first prize. The six winners will win a trip to Europe for a unique chance to network with researchers at any research institute in the European Union.

The competition is open to researchers of any nationality and academic discipline, including social sciences and humanities.

Contenders do, however, have to be actively involved in formal research activities in any of the six EURAXESS Links hubs. Each EURAXESS Links hub will host a live final to crown their respective champion.

The popular EURAXESS Science Slam 2015 has officially kicked off in six regions across the globe.

Already in its third instalment, the annual science communication competition of the EU-funded EURAXESS Links network takes place this autumn in the ASEAN nations, Brazil, China, India, Japan and North America.
