Fans remember Vishnuvardhan

Fans from across the state remembered veteran actor Vishnuvardhan on his 9th death anniversary on Sunday.

Thousands stood in a queue at Abhiman Studio near Kengeri to pay floral tributes to Vishnuvardhan’s samadhi.

“The government should immediately start working on Vishnuvardhan memorial. It’s an insult to one of the greatest actors of the land. The government should sanction land and money to build a memorial in Abhiman Studio,” they said.

Vishnuvardhan Fans Association president M B Lokesh Gowda said the government should take initiative to buy 2 acres at Abhiman Studio and the fans would raise Rs 50 lakh towards the memorial. A blood donation camp was also organised as part of the event.
