Four youngsters held for doing bike stunts

Performed dangerous stunts on bikes that belonged to their friends

The Banashankari traffic police have booked four youngsters for performing bike stunts, endangering fellow bikers and commuters.

The offenders are identified as Karthik (19) and Manoj (20), both residents of Srinagara; Nitin (20), a resident of Yeddiyur Lake; and Amin Khan (20) from Laggere.

The police said they have formed special squads to watch out for reckless youngsters performing bike stunts after they received several complaints from the public over the past few days.

They caught Khan at PES College, where he was found performing dangerous bike stunts, while Karthik and Manoj were caught at the Swimming Pool Road in Banashankari 2nd Stage, where they did stunts on their two-wheelers.

Nitin was nabbed at Kanakapura Road. The police found that the youngsters did not actually own the bikes and they belonged to their friends.
