A 35-year-old man fell to his death from the 6th floor of the BMTC bus station in Shanthinagar early Saturday morning.
The deceased, identified as Nagesh, was a native of Chitradurga and worked as a daily wager, the police said. The police said that he used to sleep at the BMTC bus station at Shanthinagar and travelled around the city doing small errands. According to the police, around 2.30 am, the security guard on duty heard a thud and rushed to the spot to find Nagesh lying in a pool of blood. The police suspect he may have slipped and fallen down.
The Wilson Garden police have registered a case and are investigating. The police have sent his body for postmortem and have informed his family members.
