Addressing media persons here on Thursday, he said a plan of Rs 2.7 crore is ready for repairing Datta Peetha.

Ordinary contractors cannot handle the cave repair works and hence the cabinet nod is necessary to get exemption from the Transparency Act, he said. “There is no question of politicking in the milk route issue, which has already been discussed with the DC. I have also studied the file of the Animal Husbandry department. A sum of Rs 10.5 crore need to be released from the government in this regard. I will try for that,” he said.

The matter of weak monsoon has also been discussed with the DC. A clear picture in this regard can be envisaged after the review meet to be chaired by the district-in-charge minister on Monday, the MP said.

Any application that reaches an office should be disposed within 15 days. At least, it should be given an endorsement. The district-in-charge minister should give his time to the district at least once in 15 days, DV said.
