Janotsava cultural programmes from today

Cultural programmes will be held at Kaveri Kalakshetra everyday at 6 pm from October 9 to October 13 and the programmes will be staged at Gandhi Maidan between October 14 and 17.

The programme schedule is as follows. On October 9, Devisthuthi will be performed by Ramanjaneya Bhajana Mandali, Bharatanatyam by Saurabha Nrithya Kala Parishat, Bharatanatyam by R Rakshitha and troupe from Bangalore and Khavvali by Mysore Zayidullah Khan will be performed.

On October 10, Bharatanatyam will be performed by Ayama Academy of Fine Arts, light music by Sneha Sangama artists of Madikeri, Bharatanatyam by Sharada Kalakendra, Koraga Nritya by Navarasa Kala Sangha of Thirthahalli and variety dance by Natya Ninada Nrithya troupe of Virajpet will be held.

On  October 11 evening, Bharatanatyam will be performed by Jaganmohana Natyalaya of Virajpet, flute and mandolin recital by A V Datthathreya of Mysore, percussion programme by R Mohan from Mysore, folk dance by Kadagadalu Botlappa and dance programme by Angel Rashmi troupe will be staged.

October 12 will witness variety of programmes including music concert by P Y Ananya Sharma, cultural programme by Kodagu Gowda Mahila Okkuta and HJebbattageri Mogera community, variety dance by Pushpanjali Nrithya Kalakendra, Saxophone performance by M S Sathish, Sridevi Mahatme-a dance ballet by Madikeri Inchara Yuva Kalakendra will be performed.

Nritha Vaibhava by Natyanjali Nritya school, light music by Ganaganga Vadya Vrinda of Mysore, Bharatanatyam by Cauveri Kala Parishat of Kushalnagar, Bharatanatyam by Bhoomika Rajendra, Guitar performance by Shreshta Kala Academy of Mysore and variety programme by Nisarga Yuva Kalakendra of Mysore will be performed on October 13.

On October 14, ‘Jago Bharat’ programme will be held and an inspirational talk will be given by wellknown speaker Chakravarti Soolibele, followed by patriotism song programme at Gandhi Maidan.

Yuva Dasara will take place on October 15 at Gandhi Maidan. A dance concert with the theme- ‘Unity in diversity’ and music contest- ‘Battle of Music’ will be held on the same day.

Variety of programmes will be organised at Ranga Mandira of Gandhi Maidan on October 16. A dance ballet- ‘Sri Cauveri Vaibhava,’ light music by Indrani Ananthram, roller skating dance by Jagadish K C and troupe of Madikeri, ‘Bhootharadhane Tulunada Vaibhava’ by Dharmasthala Yuva Shakti Sangha will be staged.

The last day of the fest will feature Saxophone recital by Vidwan M A Harish Kumar of Mysore and ‘Sri Gokarna Kshetra Mahatme’ by Kallugundi Nataraj Nritya Kalaniketan.
The final cultural programme will be orchestra by popular artists, informed the release.
