Cab driver found dead on Sarjapur Road

According to the police, one of the four occupants of the car which Nagraju was driving, attacked him with sharp weapons. The miscreants also tried to flee with the car but had to abandon the vehicle after meeting with an accident.

According to the police, Nagraju had picked up some employees from the Brindavan Tech Park and had dropped them in JP Nagar at around 10.30 pm. He was returning to his Kasavanahalli residence when the incident happened. “He spoke to his brother Yogesh over phone and told him that he will be home in 30 minutes. Later, he might have picked up those four miscreants to earn some extra money. When the car reached Sarjapura Road around 10.50 pm, one of them stabbed him on his neck from behind. According to the eyewitnesses Nagraju jumped out of the car, but collapsed and died. However, the miscreants managed to flee in the car,” the police said.

After driving for some distance, the car met with the accident forcing the miscreants to abandon it. Eyewitnesses have seen four people jumping out of the car, the police said.
