Mahila Dasara concludes

Foot tapping songs performed by girls and women brought the four-day show of women prowess - showcasing their skills in beauty contest, preparing artefacts, rangoli and cooling competition and many others. The platinum jubilee hall witnessed the gala event when the girls tapped their foot to the hit numbers and film music. The solo dance programme began at 2 pm in the afternoon followed by group dances. More than six groups battled for the first three places.

While, the solo and group dance for contestants upto 30 years was followed by same events for those aged above 30 years. It talent hunt provided a forum for the women to showcase their skills. It was followed by painting competition for girls. The Mahila Dasara come to a grand closing with winners being given away the prizes.
