Dattamala abhiyana from today

The abhiyana rituals will commence at the Vallabha Ganapathi temple in the town. Elaborate security arrangements have already been made by the police and the district administration prior to the abhiyana, which will continue till October 22.

TheSene had warned that a protest will be organised by performing ‘homa’ in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, if devotees were not allowed to see (darshana) ‘Datta Paduke’ on October 22 at Inam Dattatreya Peeta in Bababudangiri.

A procession will be taken out in the town on October 22 at 9.30 am. A homa ritual will be performed at the shrine at 12.15 pm. Sri Ram Sene Nationa President Pramod Mutalik and 10 seers will lead the rituals, stated Sene Organising Secretary K V Mahesh Kumar.
