The appointment was made on October 14. V Natraj and M M Harish, members of KSCA, had complained of breach of trust and misuse of office by Brijesh Patel, secretrary of the association, and Ramadhani, the then Vice President. They had stated that the transactions were made in violation of the bye-laws of the association.
Though the complaint was filed in 2007 and a probe was ordered, the matter received a set back when the High Court’s single judge quashed the order on technical grounds. However on challenging this order, the division bench on July 15 directed the registrar of Societies to look into the matter within three months from the date of the order. Following this, the registrar of Societies after going through the complaint has ordered for an inquiry within 30 days.
