With me or without, Govt will complete term: CM

Replying to the reporters’ queries on the disqualified MLA Balachandra Jarakiholi’s remarks that Minister Jagadish Shettar will become the chief minister after the SC verdict is out, Yeddyurappa said anybody from the party can become chief minister and he didn’t think ever that he was the only candidate for the post.

To the queries on the legislators’ revolt, Yeddyurappa quipped: “We do have some differences of opinion that can be sorted out without any hitches. But, there is no dissidence. The trouble-makers have already been thrown out of the party.” Yeddyurappa also said there will be no change in the venue of the World Kannada Literary Meet which is scheduled to be held in Belgaum.

Shettar, who accompanied the chief minister clarified that he was not an aspirant for the post of chief minister.
