Talking to Oprah Winfrey on her show, Paris said that she and her two siblings were made to wear veils so "when we did go out without our dad then nobody would really recognise us," Contactmusic reported.

"I appreciated it," Paris stated on being asked if she agreed with the practice, but added that "it wasn't always comfortable."

"He tried to raise us without (us) knowing who he was, but that didn't really go so well," she said in the chat that included Jackson's other two children Prince Michael and Blanket.
Talking about the 'King of Pop,' whose sudden death in June last year was deeply mourned, Paris said that Jackson was a "good" father, something which was not understood by everybody.

"I kinda felt like no none understands what a good father he was. I'd say he was like the best cook ever... He was just a normal dad... He made the best French toast in the world."
The interview aired on American television yesterday.

Paris had surprised everyone in June by paying a tearful tribute to her father. "I just want to say... ever since I was born.... daddy has been the best father you can imagine. And I just want to say I love him so much," the 11-year-old had said during the memorial service, which was watched by millions.
