The National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA) is one of the largest communities of architectural structures in Asia. Over 120 colleges are the members of this association and they played an important role in contributing to the panel.

The panel discussion was an interactive platform for the panelists and the audience. The panelists included Jaisim from Jaisim Fountainhead, Prem Chandavarkar from C&T Architects, Naresh Narasimhan from Venkataraman and Associates, Ravindra Kumar from Pragrup and Rama R Subrahmanian from BMS College of Architecture.

The panelists spoke about the problems faced by the architects and the students. This was followed by an interactive session of questions by the students, which was answered by the panelists.

More than 200 people participated in the event. Six colleges from Bangalore, one college from Tumkur, one from Mysore and Hubli each along with a college from Bijapur were some of the participants.

Kavana, a third semester BArch student, from UVCE said that it was a busy day for most of them. “It’s a great programme for architecture students as well as professionals. Utopia is a dream and I think many more discussions should happen.”

Andera from Mysore said, “It’s a very nice discussion and the panelists were very informative.”
