Karnataka couple held for duping doctor

The couple spend the major part of the defrauded amount in a pleasure trip to a South East Asian country.

Kiran Kumar S Magadi and his wife Renu, residents of Hubli in Karnataka, were apprehended from their hometown following investigations into the complaint by the doctor, Deputy Commissioner of Economic Offences Wing K K Vyas said.

The doctor was assured by the couple that they could arrange an admission for his son in a reputed medical college.
