“By allowing Yeddyurappa to continue in office, the BJP high command has endorsed corruption. The leadership has adopted a new principle to sustain the party from the money earned from corrupt practices. I condemn the stand taken by the BJP on Yeddyurappa,” JD(S) State president H D Kumaraswamy said.

He said the JD(S) will continue its campaign against the Yeddyurappa government with a two-pronged strategy: To take up agitation and fight a legal battle.

Starting December 1, Kumaraswamy will tour the State to create “awakening” among people on corruption in the Yeddyurappa Government. We will cover all Assembly constituencies from Bidar in the north to Chamarajnagar in the south, he added. The Congress, on its part, has also decided to intensify its protests against the BJP rule in the State.  KPCC president G Parameshwara said the BJP central leadership and the RSS had bowed down before Yeddyurappa. They had showed they did not possess the moral strength to take action against an accused in corruption charges.
