One kg ganja seized from grocery store

Based on concrete information, a team led by Circle Inspector C Sampath Kumar raided the shop and arrested the owner and two others. Raghu, the owner of the shop, had been arrested for selling the banned substance in the past.

Along with him, the police arrested Ajay and Naveen from Bangalore who had come to purchase the ganja from him.

The three have been remanded to judicial custody. Sub-inspector Salim Nadaf, constables Munegowda, Tribhuvan, Anand, Shafi, Nagendra and Krishnamurthy were part of the team.
