Man held after trying to hijack plane with Iranian MPs

The man armed with a "cold weapon" claimed he had placed bombs on the aircraft and had hijacked the plane.

The Iranian Fars news agency, however, did not specify the type of weapon the man had. The aircraft was carrying among other passengers a group of Iranian parliament members to Damascus, Syria.
