Hitching himself to Ambhiram is a carefree and chatter-box petty pilferer Vettivel with an eye on Abhiram’s fancy bike.

How their biking trip to trace the elusive Janaki and Vettivel’s matter-of-fact take on life and living turn into a voyage of self-discovery for Abhiram form the film’s focus.  
Despite the proverbial pitfalls, a pleasing score, picturesque visuals, pithy dialogues, competent performances, and intutive handling has Ilangkannan coming up with a winner.
