Indian millionaire murdered in Malaysia: Police

35-year-old Muthuraja went missing after coming to Malaysia on January 18 to meet the two lawyer brothers implicated in the murders of cosmetics millionaire Sosilawati Lawiya and her three associates.

According to the district police chief, they had not found any physical evidence that the victim was at Ladang Gadong in Banting, where earlier reports had said that he could have been murdered. The police was still waiting for DNA results from the chemistry department.
Muthuraja's wife is to return to Malaysia from Tamil Nadu soon to file a civil suit against N. Pathmanabhan, 41, one of the main suspects in the murder of her husband.

Manikavasagam, a local member of parliament, said Usharani had made the decision after her lawyer received a letter from the district police confirming that Muthuraja was murdered.
Police has not made a DNA confirmation as they have yet to receive blood samples from Muthuraja's parents to be compared with bone fragments found at the scene.

The disappearance of Muthuraja's made headline news in the local papers for almost three weeks as it emerged after the gruesome murder of Sosilawati and her aides.

Usharani had lodged a police report on the disappearance of Muthuraja and his business deal with the two lawyers in September which gave the police a breakthrough in their probe into the whereabouts of Sosilawati and her three aides who were that time reported missing.
