Deboo will be spearheading the Global Indian Banking initiatives at YES Bank, which include delivering the bank's liabilities goals with focus on cross-sell of wealth management and insurance products, a press release issued here stated.
Deboo brings with him about 16 years of experience, primarily in the NRI business. Prior to joining YES Bank, he was heading the NRI banking division at Barclays Bank Plc. He has been instrumental in setting up the NRI business for Barclays Bank Plc in India, and was part of the core team for the Global Retail and Commercial Banking division, the release said.
Prior to Barclays Bank Plc, Deboo was with ICICI Bank for over five years, and has worked in various capacities in its International Banking Group.
