SEC asked to file counter affidavit

Hearing a petition by Manjunath and others, elected representatives of Bangalore and Ramnagar, who have sought the corporation and municipal limits to be freed from poll code, the Division Bench directed SEC to file counter affidavit within two days.

The matter will be heard by the Vacation Bench on December 21. It could be recalled that the single judge had earlier said that the matter should be heard by a Division Bench.
