Nearly 65 students from various branches like marketing, finance and human resource were conferred with the degree.

The students were seen in the traditional convocation gown and the occasion also provided an opportunity for them to visit their teachers and share with them their moments of glory.

The joy of completing an important milestone of their life was visible on their faces. They were seen congratulating each other, taking photographs and saying ‘Victory’ in chorus.

The chief guest for the event was Ajay Kumar K V, the vice president of Dhanalaxmi Bank.

The other dignitaries on the dais were Anil Rawat, director of IBMT; Arun Mudhol, dean; Sai Baba, a senior faculty member and Vasantha Lakshmi, programme director.
Ajay Kumar K V addressed the students and said, “It is important for you to leave something for the future generation and not just think about your personal gains.

Management education in India is growing at such a fast pace that it is essential for students to understand that their ability and performance in the corporate sector will help them scale new heights. Young minds should become the torch bearers for a knowledge-based economy and this can transform India into a superpower.”

The students couldn’t contain their happiness as they collected their degree certificates. Dipen Juneja, a rank holder in marketing, said, “I was eagerly waiting for this day for a long time. It is a very momentous occasion for me and I’m thankful to all the teachers of this college for everything they have taught me.”

Lakshmi, another student, was elated holding her certificate. “I am extremely thankful to this college for teaching me the management principles in the truest sense. The precision and perfection in teaching here is unparalelled to any other institution. It has helped me utilise these skills in the professional world to a great extent. More than the certificate, I am very happy to be a part of this college for whatever it has given me,” she said.

Rejoicing the moment was another student, Amogh Harapanahalli. “I am just speechless. This is a moment I will cherish all my life. The degree certificate is not only a stamp of my success but also stands testimony to what I am as an individual,” he said.
