IGNOU’s Advanced centre for informatics and innovative learning and IBM will collaborate to ‘bridge the gap’ between education and the skills developed.
As part of the partnership, the two entities will work closely to equip students with skills in a variety of verticals such as healthcare, financial services and retail businesses. The three courses that will be offered in the first phase under the agreement are a certificate course in open source software, Diploma in open source software and industry vertical domain open standards and an Advanced Diploma in industry vertical domain open standards (healthcare, retail and insurance).
