StarragHeckert, Executive Vice President (Operations) Walter Borsch said the Rs 50 crore facility will come up at KIADB, Devanahalli Aeropark.
It also launched new range of WMW horizontal machining centres. The company will rollout in the next 24 months, Horizontal Machining Centres-WMW CWK 400mm to 800mm pallet sizes.
Technology centre
StarragHeckert Machine Tools Pvt Ltd India Managing Director A N Chandrmouli, said to support the machines imported from Switzerland and Germany, the company set up a technology Centre at Peenya Bangalore with investment of Rs 6 crore.
“The purpose of the centre is to support Indian customers in application and turnkey solutions. We undertake turnkey projects which involves proposal engineering, application engineering, fixture and tool engineering, application and fixture manufacturing for various customers in transport, automobile, power generation equipment, agriculture equipment and construction equipment manufacturers,” he added.
