Addressing reporters here, party central spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said: “The BJP is seized of the matter. An in-house inquiry is on into the allegations. We will let you know its conclusions in one month.”

He, however, ruled out a change of chief minister. “The question (of leadership change) does not arise as of now. “Everything is in public domain now. Two judicial authorities are already probing into the charges. Besides, an in-house inquiry is also on. Any decision the party takes will be made known to public immediately,” he said.

Strongly defending Yeddyurappa on the land scam, Javadekar charged Governor H R Bhardwaj with colluding with Opposition parties, the Congress and the JD(S), to create problems to the Government.

“The Governor has given the permission to prosecute Yeddyurappa though no investigating agency has conducted any probe and found any prima facie evidence,” Javadekar remarked.
