The State Cabinet on Tuesday has agreed in principle to bear the brunt of real estate costs if volunteers and organisations come forward to set up goshalas. The State legislature has already passed the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Bill in 2010. The Governor has referred the Bill to President for approval.
