Deepa, wife of the accused, told police that Narayan (44), an alcoholic, got angry when his father stopped him from drinking on February 27. Infuriated, Narayan beat Dhan Singh (68) to death and hid his body in the sewage pit of the house for around a month.
He also threatened Deepa of dire consequences if she tells anybody about the incident. Police has registered a case against Narayan and is looking for him.
