The protesters said the government had failed to carry out assurances given in 2009 to provide basic amentities in the colonies to which they were shifted and employment to a member of the displaced family.
They submitted a memorandum to Kageri and warned that if their demands were not met, they would stage a protest in front of the residence of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in Bangalore from April 7.
People from the villages of Shivapura, Neturga and Hebbala participated in the protest.
