Road mishap; one dies, two injured

Divyarekha (29), daughter of Mayigowda, Doddarasinakere, is the victim. Her husband Prakash and brother Mayaprasad are those injured.

The mishap occurred when they were inspecting the site bought by them near Eshwara temple. The legs of  Mayaprasad have been amputated and admitted to a private hospital in Mysore. Prakash is undergoing treatment at Town Hospital.

Injured dies

A trader, who was injured near Koppa circle in the town on Tuesday last, succumbed to his injuries at Victoria  Hospital in Bangalore, on Friday. Ramakrishna(45), who owned a provision store at M S Siddaraju complex in the town, is the deceased. He was hit by a speeding car near the circle while waiting for a bus to return home.

Town Police have registered the cases.

Senior citizen killed

An aged person died when she was hit by a tractor near Gejjalagere bus stand in the taluk on Friday. Gowramma(60), resident of Valagerehalli of the taluk, is the deceased.     
The incident occurred when she was going on a two wheeler with her relative to a hospital.

The tractor hit the bike and woman fell down, killing her on the spot.
Sub-Inspector Mahesh arrested driver and seized tractor.
Maddur Police have registered a case.
