Hotel worker electrocuted

A worker was electrocuted at a hotel in Gandhinagar on Monday morning. Gopi, 22, a native of Hosadurga, was cleaning the refrigerator when he suffered electric shock.  He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was declared brought dead.

Cleaner killed

The cleaner of a lorry was killed after the vehicle crashed into a school compound wall on Subramanyapura Main Road on  Monday morning.

The lorry was proceeding from Konanakunte towards Uttarahalli and the driver lost control over the vehicle after he hit a speed breaker.

The lorry rammed the compound wall of YAS primary school, bringing down a major portion of the wall. Nirupdi, 23, who was seated next to the driver, was crushed to death on the spot. Kumaraswamy Layout police registered a case.
