Students told to develop scientific temperament

Speaking after honouring three students with district Young Scientists award at a programme organised by Department of Science and Technology, Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat and department of Public Instructions here on Friday, he said “science and technology has made progress. All should develop interest in science. The students should involve themselves in the field of science and technology.”  

Deputy Commissioner K H Ashwathanarayana Gowda called upon the students to take help from Vijnana Parishat.  Zilla Panchayat President Shantheyanda Ravi Kushalappa, Member S N Rajarao, Zilla Panchayat  CEO N Krishnappa, Additional Deputy Commissioner K M Chandre Gowda, and others were present.

The awards were given to K L Mouna of St Annamma High School Virajpat (I), P Acchuthananda of St Annamma High School (II), St Joseph School’s Christin Moras (III). The award carries a cash prize of Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1000 respectively.
