Speaking to reporters at the inauguration of a national-level football tournament here, he said the Congress and the JD(S) conducted meetings at New Delhi and were trying to coax the legislators to join their parties in an attempt to destabilise the government.
“But the legislators, who have been in constant contact with ministers Janardhana Reddy, Govind Karjol and Umesh Katti, have assured the party of their support,” he said.He also rubbished rumours that said the legislators had promised support only if there was a change in leadership.
