Addressing the protesters, Congress District President Gopal Poojary said Yeddyurappa led BJP government at the state must be ousted to uphold the Constitutional values.
Udupi Block Congress Samiti President Pramodh Madhwaraj said President’s rule should be imposed immediately and inquiry must be held to probe in to all the misdeeds of Yeddyurappa.
Nearly 100 protesters including senior Congress leaders like Manorama Madhwaraj, Vasanth Salian, were arrested and released immediately.
